Band to check out (for fans of Buzzov'en)
I saw these guys last night and they rocked! Its a three piece from North Carolina called Weedeater. The singer/bass player is Dixie Dave formerly of
Buzzov'en. Definitly worth checking out!

I'd heard of this band, but never checked them out. They sound a bit like I'd expected to. Not bad. Vocals would take some getting used to.
now, checking out Weedeater led me to check out another band I'd heard about but never bothered to listen to... well, that's a really fucking long
list of bands, but anyway.... Rwake. Im pleasantly surprised. I really fucking like it so far.

I live in Charlotte NC (home of Buzzov'en)....I've seen some crazy Buzzov'en shows,you never knew what was gonna happen....Like the time Kirk and Jeff
Clayton staged a fake fight and wrestled all over the Milestone club (they had a long standing "beef" with one another).....or the time that Kirk
dived off the stage to fight a skinhead that was twice his size,he broke a bottle over the skinheads head and Kirk's arm got cut open....he played the
rest of the show with blood running down his arm.I was never a big fan of their music,but Buzzov'en shows were always violent and highly
entertaining.Too bad herion got the best of Kirk in the mid ninties...they could have been huge.
Weedeater is a great band live as well....as is Sourvein,which also features members of Buzzov'en
