Windows Vista
So I sprung a chunk of my tax return on a fancy new computer and the thing has this Vista shit. I was leaning anti cuz I heard there were a lot of
problems, but so far it doesn't seem too bad. The most annoying thing is that it asks permission for pretty much any fucking thing I do. And I'm so
used to finding certain controls in 98 or XP, and this thing is definitely set up very different.
I also get a big laugh because they bit HARD off the Mac OS... visually similar plus little things like the gadgets and stuff.
Anybody have an opinion on this thing yet?

i haven't seen it at all yet.
i use macs 95% of the time, so it'll be a while before i go upgrading any PC equipment.
and with macs now able to run OSX and Vista, i don't know if i'd bother upgrading actual pc hardware.
