Help a brotha out and buy my new CD

I made 1000 cd's and I need to find some gullible people with poor taste to buy em.

If you're interested in pissing away a few bucks:
http://www.interpunk.com/item.cfm?Item=66830&

And you can check out my sweet music video here:
http://www.ketchabrick.com/marklindfinal.mov

I was highly intoxicated for both the filming of the video and the recording of the cd.

Are you only doing the one pressing of 1000, or is that just to test the waters and see how it does?

Not really sure. I'm not putting it in stores so I figured 1000 was more than enough to handle the amount of people that will seek it out through webstores. I'm gonna throw this out there and then go back in the studio in May for a full length. Not sure what the long term game plan is. But if this sells then I would definitely repress.

So are you just going to avoid labels from now on?

I wouldn't avoid labels at all if they were all run by people like Andy King. But unfortunately most labels are run by assholes.

I'd love to talk to Anti-Flag about joining their label if they were interested. Or if Ken Casey ever decided to buckle down and get serious with a label of his own. Cuz Ken takes poops that come out platinum.

But the roadblock is that I don't want to tour full time. I think a lot of bands that tour fulltime are mediocre and often substandard because the bands focus too much on their touring and their appearance and very few bands balance the workload with the artistic end of things. I'd prefer to sit around and perfect the songs than distract myself with other stuff. And its my personal opinion that the internet could help fascilitate a band doing this in the future and still building a fanbase. So I'm willing to try it myself but I'm willing to bet most labels wouldn't want to gamble on it. And that's understandable. A good manager, label and PR agent could turn that into something though... or at least I think they could.
