printer help

I ahve a 1300 hp printer/scanner and a compac computer. Problem is I ahve a document that will not print. It jsut stays in the waiting area like it is going to side print. It will not delete or cancel any time I hit click the right side of the mouse.

What else shold I do? I unplugged the printer once. I unplugged my computer. I turned off the printer.

I have a had a similar problem in the past with one of my printers
restart the computer
open you active printers and see if it is still pending
if so cacel the document
if it seems like it taking awhile just reset the computer instantly
and do the process over again till it goes away
then try printing again

my main daily printer used to at printing buttons and dhl shipments, and would lock like once a day
so I had to buy 2 printers to replace it but they are tax write offs so oh well
good luck man

It still is like this. I am going to delete it and re-install the printer.
