There's a lot of shit that gets said about him suppressing the press, but if you watch the movie, you'll agree that we'd execute people for the same
shit here and call it treason... at the very least, you'd end up in Guantanamo as an enemy combatant. Bare minimum, your broadcasting license would
be yanked (which is all that Chavez has done so far).
That said, I do think Chavez is becoming an autocrat that will end up hurting the country. But given what he's been faced with, he's been pretty damn
reserved, given the situation. My emotions are much more mixed now.
