THE FUCKIN BASEMENT FLOODED AGAIN!
Runied some of what we packed up for the move on Saturday. The people buying the house were here to see the damage.
THIS FUCKING SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The closing date is to be the 15th of August. I hope these people do not back out.
Please pray or whatever for us. WE NEED SOME POSTIVE VIBES OR SOMEHING IN OUR DIRECTION.

well, who told the buyers?! 
did you at least cover in the seller's disclosure that you had water in the basement previously?
worse case scenario, get some pricing on what it would take to get the problem fixed and offer to split it with them if they threaten to walk away.

we had water in our basement two days after closing and that was the only question the seller skipped on the disclosure form. i completely missed it
cause they slip it by AT closing.
the problem was that water was seeping in around the water main. nothing major, but derinitely annoying for a 4yo house. anyway, the first two
estimates i got for fixing it were $4,500 (for an internal french drain and plastic lining for the walls) and $6,000 to dig up the front yard and
waterproof the outside of the foundation. neither seemed like the right solution (and not just cause of the price)
after consulting with some actual home builders, i got hooked up with a company that does a high-powered silicon injection that goes through the full
width of the foundation to seal cracks. $450. haven't had a problem since.
If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

Ya it was disclosed plus they have a elderly mother in law that live accross the street. This is the reason for purchasing it.

So far new hotwater tank. $800.00. Today the cleaning people should be here between 11 and 1.
May take 3 days to air out and disinfect. I hate this house.
