NEWS:

Last night Frank, the guitarist of Hatebreed, broke his leg after the Albany show. As a result the guys canceled the Stillborn Fest show today but are trying to reschedule it for sometime in February with as many of the bands that were playing today as possible.

All tickets purchased for this show would be honored then if you wanted to hang on to your tickets otherwise you can return your tickets at their points of purchase. If you have any further questions please message myspace.com/wnyafterdark

That's kinda stupid they cancel a big show like that because 1 band can no longer play, headliner or not there are still better bands on the show.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

I heard that a bunch of the bands might play somewhere else in the area, but I dont know if thats true or not. It is pretty dumb, but there might be people that spent the money on tickets mainly to see Hatebreed and its not fair to them to pay full price and not see the band they wanted to see.

Heh I paid good money to see Dark Funeral play in Toronto but when they couldn't get over and all that was left was Pissing Razors & Cannibal Corpse, I still had to pay full price and the show went on. Pretty sure Cannibal Corpse was headliner though so maybe that's why it went on, though shows normally go on if the headliner misses out. I would have let the show go on if it was mine.

always good pics from that site.

Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.
