Yep, these bands are all great examples of what HC really is. Anyone who would dispute any of these bands being "Hard Core" has no idea what the term means.

I would have loved to see DK back in the day. I would really love to see the original lineup play In God We Trust Inc. from start to finish.

I saw jello give a speech at a leftover crack show once. He went on a rant about how he hasn't ate mcdonalds in over 20 years and made some other generic statements about not supporting major corporations. And the whole time in his 30 minute rant he was pullin on a nice refreshing, ice cold, frost brewed Budweiser. :bouncy: I gave away all my dead kennedys shit the next day. Fuckin stooge. DH Peligro is one of the coolest dudes I ever meet though.

the reality is it's impossible to never give any money to a corporation. there are no saints and nobody's entirely above criticism. i doubt if you sat down and talked to him about it that he would claim otherwise, despite the fact that he can come off a bit self righteous at times. the guy has always stood up for his beliefs, whether against jocks, nazis at shows, or the pmrc. he's always put his money where his mouth was and he gets my respect for that. it's easy to forget sometimes that larger than life characters are still just normal human beings like the rest of us.

I'd be more upset that I was at an LOC show then what kinda beer Jello happened to be drinking.
