I missed it in the theater but will get this over the weekend. One of those movies I have to see. I ahve been so freaking busy over the past semester I missed out.

Great movie. Even better book. If you're a reader check out the entire 5 book Patrick and Angie series.

So far both LeHane adaptations (Mystic River and GBG) have been stellar. A lot to do with the source material. Next one is Shutter Island, and Scorsese is directing...they just changed the name though.

I'm going to have to check out his books. I loved both Gone Baby Gone and Mystic River.

The extras are nice...it helps flesh Angie out a bit and deepens her and Patricks relationship, but my single biggest complaint was her seeming like a female tag a long when shes not.

Still an amazing adaptation, regardless of it's faults. Lehane has been very lucky both times one of his books have been put to film they've been pretty amazing. Now he has Scorsese filming the next, what other author has that string of luck.

Have you not read it yet? If not you're doing yourself a terrible disservice by not. Though it ends the same way it's a lot deeper of an ending on Jimmy Marcums part.

FYI, new Lehane-Kenzie/Genarro book out now. Moonlight Mile.

Guess it's a "sequel" of sorts to Gone Baby Gone. Picks up like 10 yrs later.

Just saw it on Amazon this AM.
