American Gangster
Just finished watching this, and I have to say I was really impressed. I watched the 3 hour uncut version, and found it pretty addictive. I had
never heard of the man played by Denzel Washington, and I'm shocked and amazed at how huge his operation was. Fucking scary if you think about it.
Also, his affect on the NYPD was also quite impressive and well-needed. Good flick overall.

good movie, but it was factually inaccurate. They took liberties with alot of shit when writing the screenplay.

I know that's the case, as often happens in Hollywood. But than I did some reading on the guy, and what he did is still pretty damn impressive.

meh, that movie was not really that good. I can't take a gangster movie seriously if the head guy does not scare me and Washington is a goof ball.

Both of the actual dudes were consultants on the movie. The cop actually pays for the cons kid to go to private school in "real" life. The cop's a
lawyer now. They're actually close friends now.
Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where
cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?
