music that put chills into you when you first heard it and why?
UNBROKEN- life.love.regret
I was into punk, metal hardcore whatnot and I just quit skating and picked up the guitar. I also went on a drug hiatus for a while, but still hit the
beers. However, I began my 3 years of vegetarianism and working out like a motherfucker. This record hit me like the first time I heard DRI, GBH,
7SECONDS, and SOIA. It changed me.
It still gives me that feeling. Man this is a great record.

Slayer, it changed the way I looked at the world. I thought they must be speaking for Satan himself and it titilated me

The first time I heard the first Deicide album it blew my fucking mind. It was the most evil, outright god hating satanic thing I had ever heard and I
fucking loved it.
The song Bro Hym by Pennywise always has and always will give the chills as well. Not just because it is a great song, but for personal reasons as
well.
Cold As Life: Born to Land Hard: That album was so brutal and real to me. I will never forget listing to that for the first time.
I also remember the first time I heard Metallica when I was like 11 years old. It was the Ride the Lighting album and that was the day I had heard
true metal.
The first time I heard death metal was another point that just shocked me and I feel in love with it right away. It was Morbid Angel's Alters of
Madness and Entombed' Left Hand Path.

The first time I heard "Kill a Celebrity" by Ramallah. That was the first time I think I had ever heard that much genuine anger and disgust in a
song.

for me I think its any song where I feel like the band is 110% behind what they are saying. It doesnt matter if its about straight edge, about beer,
about anger.... its just a feeling that somehow comes across through the song.
Slayer - Angel of Death
GangGreen - Alcohol
Bane - Superhero
There are others, but those are the first 3 that come to mind.

Sheer Terror- Ugly & Proud blew me away when I first heard it, and it's still one of my favorite albums of all time
Joe Coffee- Both albums, the first one amazed me at how different it was from ST but still great. The second album blew away anything that came out
in the last few years. It was, once again, such a huge departure from ST and punk rock in general. It showed how versatile Paul Bearer is as a
singer. I still listen to these two at least once a week.
Motorhead- No Remorse was my introduction to Motorhead and made them my favorite band ever. 20 Years later and they're still my favorite band.
Negative Approach- First 7" Until I heard this, I had no idea how angry and primal music could be. To me this is the most important record in the
history of hardcore as it defines the genre for me.
Slayer- Reign In Blood Nuff said

Deicide's first album was the exact answer I was looking for at the time. I was blown away. Then I heard Legion. I don't think any other album has
hit me so hard.
A close second is the live set on Wasted Youth Brew or Biohazard's live album. They both gave me chills.
Arise by Sepultura was life changing for me.

I don't think I've ever listened to a Neurosis record, but I saw them live a couple of times. A wall of fucking sound that could knock you on your
ass. It was a strange but cool experience to see them live.

Rose Tattoo, Angry's voice, and a lot of the subject material hits close to home.
Red Alert, the song They Came In Force stills gives me gooseflesh.
First time I heard ACDC I was about 7 years old, I'd never heard anything like that, all I'd heard were my parents Clancy Brother's albums, which I
listened to repeatedly, so ACDC was a real mind blower for me, probably changed the course of my life, I started seeking out music.
The Cockney Rejects turned me into a punk. And here we are.
Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where
cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?

wow...
"Reign in Blood" scared the shit out of my mom...
The first Suicidal record when I was 14 in '84
then Minor Threat, the first time...
then, the intro to "We Gotta Know" by the Cro-Mags
then the intro to "Just Look Around"
then the cries of my children when they were born...
nothing comes close to that anymore
