about htis shitty band NO WARNING
I've been into hardcore for a while now and throught the years I have witnessed some bands try to create a false image or "fake da funk" about being
"real" or "true" or whatever but this band has to be the most ANNOYING FAKE band ever. I am sorry if some of you here like them but I never heard of
them until I was at a store and picked up the record "sufferwhatever". I can't believe I spent money on this garbage. At least you are aware that
Linkin Park sucks before you actually buy a record. This is also a testament to my age because I have never even heard of them, but I here they
actually have another release. I can't believe people actually listen to this.
Makes me imagine that No Warning are a "punk" version of AMERICAN IDOL or put together like Ashley Simpson or something. LET'S SELL
RECORDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

let me say some words.
o feel the same way now.
but lets look, the band before no warning was as we once were. good band, solid shit.
no warning's first two albums, pure hardcore tunes and dedicated dudes...one of the best bands to see from this city. now, i saw them recently on the
worst emo pop lineup thing i have ever witnessed, and, they totally (it seems) dont give a fuck about the local kids who helped them get to where
they are by supporting them like brothers... fuck them.
sell out.
"GET READY FOR NO WARNNNNIINNG"--> "YEAHHH YEAHH YEAHHH IM 13 AND LISTEN TO BLINK 182 and OMG LIKE WHOA BEN IS SO HAWT WHAT A HAWT BOYY"
that shocked me
i have nothing against bands getting big, however, changing the sound is one thing... and changing how you play at a show and not giving a visible
shit about the roots, anytime they would play an old song, the 13 year old girls would just stand there and the hc kids would dance it up scaring
them, then the new shit, 13 year olds jumping up and down for bens cock - what is this a good charolette concert? simple plan? what the fuck...
i dont know the dudes personally sO I'm not really gonna bash on them personally that wouldnt be right, but as a band...
fuck them x2.

i got their self titled release from B9 a while back. it definitely fit well within the HC genre, but personally, i wasn't too into it.
If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

i'm not friends with these dudes but i have talked to them and they definitely haven't forgotten where they come from. i just saw them a month or so
ago in montreal on a lineup that was all hardcore bands and it was fun as hell.
their self titled release and ill blood are two of my favorite albums. and if you took out the singing on suffer, surive..it really wouldn't be that
bad. the guitar riffs are as hard as ever and live the few songs the played from it were still fun. but i can see how you'd hate them from only
hearing suffer, survive. before you completely judge, i'd check out the other albums, though.

Fuck this band. I have no desire to even think about checking out the older shit. Plus I heard that the singer is a kid brother of the hottie from the
HEROIN w/ EGG on drugs COMMERCIAL. Damn she was fine, but that DOES NOT MEAN THAT HER LITTLE BROTHER IS HARDCORE.

the firts 2 No Warning releases (an mcd and a cd) are good HC. "Suffer" is less but certainly better HC than 50% of what goes around these days.
I have no clue how the guys are in real life or on stage as I never met 'em. But if you think NW totally sucks then the majority of bands on this
board and many other boards can f* off and die a slow dead.

Don't get me wrong. they do have some heavy breakdowns and do rock out every few seconds, but it's not hard to fake it. I can see then in the studio
saying"Hey amn let's do an amazing part but then add some weakness here to completely suck" They bring it for a few verses but then slap you with some
gay ass whining and shit. AND THATS EVERY FUCKING SONG THEY DO THIS.
IT REALLY FUCKING SOUNDS LIKE LINKIN PARK.

Youre not the first person to say it sounds like Linkin Park. I think that's what they were going for so they can maybe make some money by selling a
more accessable record. We'll see how it works out for them.

...........and on Thursdday if any of you want to buy this cd used. Go to the North Olmsted, OHIO Record Exchange. It will in great shape unless I
decide to use it as a UFO out my car window.

Ben spit on me at a Hatebreed/Figure Four show in Toronto like 4 years ago. If I woulda known they were gonne be huge I woulda saved the jism he spit
on me in a bottle and coulda sold it on ebay now for a fortune.
Ill Blood is amazing, I'll give them that much. No Time For You, behind These Walls, Short Fuse...this fucking record smokes. I never got into the
7" or cd they put out on Martyr and that but back then I wasn't much into that sound and now it still doesn't do much for me.
The new stuff is a tank of shit no doubt about it. But you have to check out Ill Blood even if its the first 3 songs on the disc. They did it at
Atomic Studios with dudes from Floorpunch and Madball or Biohazard. Its a fucking great cd.
A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.
