Iron Man
A-FUCKING-MAZING
Best "origin" movie for a superhero yet because it didn't feel like an origin. Downey IS Stark. Actually everyone was top notch.
This seriously has the potential to be the greatest superhero franchise yet.
PS. I found out afterwards, but make sure you stay through the credits.

Made me feel like a kid again. Best comic book movie yet. The tiny teaser after all the credits is worth staying for too. They showed the previews for
The Hulk and the new Batman before this and I plan on seeing both of those.

Dave, you probably know the comics enough to figure this one out, just think of SHIELD (since they layed them out at the end there) and who might have
popped up. That person pretty blatantly lays out a connection to a group that will be featured in a future movie. Hopefully that didn't give it away
to the point where anybody might feel like I spoiled it....

pretty cool, good theater movie, just a bit too long, imo.
you don't need to know anything about the comic to enjoy this.
my gf thought it was good, her usual rating is, "it was ok".
reading up on the Iron Man wiki page it seems that they stuck to the original elements.
Robert Downey Jr. delivers.
the script wasn't done when shooting began, so some of the stuff in the movie is improv.
Institutionalized plays for a little bit.

I just can't see how to pull off a Thor movie. Much less inserting him with "realistic" heros like iron Man for an Avengers movie.

The two names I've heard mentioned to play Thor are HHH from WWE, and Kevin McKidd from Dog Soldiers, Rome, etc.
HHH has the look, but I don't see him being any good in the role. McKidd is too small to be Thor. The only other option might be to have McKidd as
Don Blake, and HHH be Thor.

They could do Thor kinda like they did him in Ultimates. He thinks he's a Norse god, but his clothing and hammer are some sort of technological
doo-hickey that was stolen from a lab just prior to Thor appearing.

I want to see this real bad. Batman, the Incredible Hulk and then Indiana jones too. Freakin great summer for movies already! Oh and for the horror
fiends, Dario Argento has filmed the follwo up to Suspiria and Inferno, I forget what it's called right off hand and you will obviously have to look
for it as it won't get a wide release, but I love me some argento, and his daughter asia is in it.......sooooooooo hot
