this was a breath of fresh air.
it was in a tiny little bar that only holds around 150 people.
MW fans really like Newcastle.
both opening bands were decent.
the stage was so small that the band requested no diving from the stage, but encouraged diving from anywhere else anyone could find. motherfuckers
were coming from everywhere.
the band was also very appreciative that they announced the show on Monday and got this kind of a turn-out without any conventional promotion.
the place went nuts. lots of chaos, good pit, good crowd, but the place was too hot. i was soaked head to toe when it was done.
there was this big Dolph Lundgren looking dude in the pit, so i kept having Rocky IV flashbacks throughout the show.
they played about 40 minutes. they didn't play Art Of Partying which kinda sucked, but they closed with Born To Party and that was the shit. they
also took a few requests.
they tried to get a "wall of death" going, but it was too small and too hot and the crowd wasn't having it.
i got a cool shirt for $12.
i am really sore all over.
