I gotta say that I strongly, and I mean strong like black coffee that's been brewed to the consistency of the La Brea Tar Pits, disagree with the
Beastie Boys being listed as good in any way. While I'm not a huge fan of any kind of Rap or Hip Hop or whatever the fuck it's being called this week,
this band is one that immediately gives me the douche chills to the point where I want to punch whoever put it on in the throat until I can see my
knuckles come out the back of their neck. I actually do have a few groups from the genre that I can enjoy, PE, old BDP, NWA, and a couple others, but
these cock gobbling frat boys make me violently mad.

To add to my selections, I will say anything from Paul Bearer or John Brannon is amazing beyond description. Sheer Terror, Joe Coffee, Negative
Approach, Laughing Hyena's, and Easy Action are all amongst my favorite bands. I will put their collective greatness against anything anybody else
might suggest.

Northern Pikes - Snow In June
54-40 - Radio Love Songs: Singles Collection
Guns 'n' Roses - Appetite for Destruction
A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

Nailbomb and anything by M.O.D., old or new is always on my playlists. Just saw M.O.D. in Providence a couple months back, better than when I saw them
in 95 with Pro-Pain.
