no you have a buisness with a conscious.

There is NOTHING wrong with making money and trying to make money. I just cant wrap my head around why someone would rather charge $60 for a Tshirt and sell a certain number than selling the same shirt for $20 (or less) and selling 3 times as many.

If you sell more for less than you make more people happy, gain more fans. If you sell less shirts for more money than you still make money, but I think it really turns off some people because of the price.

I can KIND OF understand it when there are a ton of hands in the pot like a licensed shirt that has 3-4 people attached to it.... but even then prices get out of hand!

The SOIA shirt is in a different market. They are keeping up with the prices in the UFC demograph, not the Hardcore one.

OK...... I just think that $40 for a Tshirt in any market is insane. Im not saying that all shirts should be $10 or something, but I think there is a limit!

The only people that need to get paid off that shirt are SOIA and the guy whos name is on it. It doesnt have a UFC logo on it. That means that he could dictate the price and I think the price he dictated is to high.

We paid $30 for a Police shirt on their reunion tour and there was a HUGE line and tons of people buying things. As BD said, supply and demand.

But in the case of something like that there were a lot of 'hands in the pot'.

The Police got a %, the venue got a %, the record company probably got a % and possibly managers or a company that handled the merch.

With the case of the fighter guy and SOIA there are only 2 groups to get paid. I just think its greedy, but I guess its just me.

I'm sure UFC gets a cut of anything Randy Couture does. Supporting him, and SOIA by way of supporting him, is supporting the UFC. They're getting a healthy cut of that price tag, I'll wager.

Than thats a shitty deal for Randy because all its got on it is his name and SOIA. UFC doesnt deserve anything.
