CURSED News
http://yourfuckingfuneral.blogspot.com/2008/05/when-your-num...
| Quote: | Yeah, you heard. Apparently, it gets even worse. That's all I know or even want to know for now. We got robbed at the very end of tour in a totally
unreal, extremely sketchy series of events that still makes no sense at all, only leads to paranoia, anger and a total loss of faith. Passports,
money, all the costs of the tour. Either way, whoever did it, it was a bullet in the head, the end of the line. A sudden and totally fucked up way for
it to end, which I know will be fitting when I look back on it. All we could do was play the show, badly, and go our ways with whatever money we could
muster. I hitched a ride back to Prague with Tomas. Since I can't do a fucking thing about it, I'm going to hang out with my girl, and friends, stare
at some Czech mountains and try not to think about it. Needless to say, all outstanding plans are off. All this shit aside, thanks to everyone that
helped out and travelled from all over for the shows on this tour, all the kids and bands we played and stayed with. Minus a few fucked up shows, it
was probably the best tour we ever had. Thanks everyone for your good wishes. I'll elaborate when I'm home next week, for now - yes it's true, and yes
it's over.

The last line, it's true, it's over...everything I've heard so far says the band has broken up now. They finished the Euro tour but apparently broke
up as well, which sucks.
There's a paypal for anyone interested in helping them out, you can get to it on another of Chris' bands page.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

who and what is this band? Never heard of em.
Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.

I have no idea who they are and that statement is pretty vague, sounds like they met with shady dealings of some sort, but what band hasn't? Not
saying anything bad about 'em since, as I said, I have no idea who they are or were, but that's a pretty flimsy story to toss out into the rumor mill
that is today's scene.

Haha damn, there's hundreds of bands going trying to rip off the Cursed sound for the past 5+ years.
Chris Colohan (ex- Left For Dead, The Swarm Ruination etc) on vocals.
You should check them out The albums are called One, Two, and Three: Architects
of Troubled Sleep. They also got 2 EP's, Hell Comes Home & Blackout At Sunrise.

Well, I thought I'd follow some of those links and check out this band, but they sound like some of the same old screechy vocals over boring and
endless breakdown parts that has been claiming to have some connection to HC for a while now. I think it's kind of funny that you'd claim there's
hundreds of bands ripping them off when they sound like they could be one of a million generic bands anyways.

Colohan's bands have always been ahead of the pack. Left For Dead was doing their style years before the Victory bands got big for it, and Cursed has
been doing this sound long before the followers.

I've heard that same defense for countless bands as if them being the first one to do something terrible makes it better than somebody else doing it.
