New Portishead

I don't know if there are any fans here, but the new one is amazing. It's simply called 3 and takes there murky feeling material to all new levels. Very emotional stuff. Beth Gibbons has the eeriest vocals I have ever heard. She can totally set a mood.

FIrst listen. It sounds a little busy or lack of focus. Or maybe too much focus. Its alot of shit going on in the songs that normally they are pretty lax on. They were chill music and now it seems you have to think too much. I tried to zone out like there past records but it kept me in the now or whatever.

I will be listening until I got the new H2O whenever that is. Fucking BRIDGE 9.

Portishead is depression in music form. Don't care about the lyrics, just everything about them makes you feel down.

The only Portishead album I've heard is Dummy but I absolutely love it.
