Congratulations on the video and congratulations on The Weezer (I think, you're actually happy about that right?) :freak:

Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?

I'm skeptical of this new Weezer album being any good. They're a great pop band but the only popping they've done in the past few records was of my bubble.

i have it downloaded already and i love it. it's different. i don't know if you'd like it because i've liked all 5 albums so far so i can't be the one to tell you what i think. i guess most blue album and pinkerton fans hate it so....take that for what it's worth. i can send it to you if you want mark. lemme know.

JAY-ZEEZER is really the only JAY Z or WEEZER that I like that much.

I like hip hop, but most of the stuff I like would be considered bad hip hop. IE: Lordz of Brooklyn, House of Pain, Young Black Teenagers etc.

I do like a few good groups though.... Wu-Tang, Porn Theater Ushers and a few others.

i just ordered the uk Pork And Beans cd single and should be getting the indie US Pork And Beans 7" single. Now I just need to buy the uk 7" singles Versions 1 & 2 and the UK Edition of The Red Album with two bonus tracks. I'm a collector.

I got the advance like a week ago and I still stand with this:

1) Blue album
2) Green album

Just the cover of the Red album makes me think they should of packed it in after the Green album and the lyrics only back up my theory. The music is still pretty much spot on Weezer though. I saw Circuit City is selling it for $6 on Tuesday which also seems like they don't have confidence in it either.

i give it my approval but you have to be a little open. under the lyrics and different delivery is classic weezer music. to a "W." some tunes take a few listens to really get the true meaning behind it. it's a fun album and i can't wait to crank this mother fucker up loud as hell for all to hear!

I passed it up because its a "typo" for CICUIT CITY. Its not $6 its $10.

Tell me its worth the money and I'll get it. If not I'll pick it up used later on. If its heavy and cheesy I'll grab it but if its a sumwhat serious album or sucks like the last one I'll pass.

it sounds serious to me. what does cheesey mean to you? rivers had made a good point once about some of the songs on the blue album and pinkerton being just as cheesey as some of their later stuff yet people would bash one era and praise the other. i can't answer that question for you. i love the album. but i've loved all their albums. i think this one is better then green and maladroit and i'm not sure where it stands with make believe. this one has no solos. but it's got the weezer sound. they experiment more. i don't know what to tell you.
