this is kind of crazy

so i finished up school recently. i get a call from the school last week saying i won an award for highest marks in the program. i'm thinkin', that's kinda cool, something to put on the resume. so i had to go to an awards thing tonight (definitely not my kind of scene ughh). i was half asleep when she called but i couldn't figure out why she was making such a big deal really. apparently i won some gold medal for highest marks in the school. i'm a bit weirded out by it honestly. anyone who knew me in high school (dave) could tell you what a stellar student i wasn't. that's what makes this all the more crazy. i graduated in 95 and this was the first time i've been back to school since.

Represent!!! It's a whole different story when you choose to go back, and fork out the dough. Awesome job for a dirty little herbert like you.

Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?

I was pretty proud when I got an academic award when I graduated college last year, but yours is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more impressive than mine. Once again, amazing job bro.

Hey Brian, does this mean you'll charge me double to hook up the power to my shed?

No really though...I need to hire someone to hook up the power to my garage. Not a major job, just need to have the power cable hooked up to the power box in my basement and I want nothing to do with it.

Are you for hire?

you guys ain't kiddin about it being different when you choose to go back, especially when it's your own money that you worked for.

congrats dave, that was that one you had an interview the other day i'm assuming? that's awesome man.

jonny, i can certainly take a look man. how far is the garage from the house? getting power out there depends on a few things. the biggest headache is getting a line out there. once that's done it's a matter of figuring out what you want in the shed (lights, plugs, etc)

The line is already run it's just not hooked up in the basement. There is 110 and 220 hooked up out there. The 220 line is cut and doesn't go into the basement while the 110 line is coiled up hanging from my floor joists. I think it will need to be extended to reach our panel but for the highest ranked student in your school i'm sure it should be no issue at all.

All I need to run are lights, a small beer fridge and an outdoor plug. I'm a simple man who just wants to get drunk in his garage and play ping pong.

Its like an insult and a compliment all rolled into one.
I highly suggest a nailing a funnel to the wall at about dick height and running some hose out the wall. Having drank in many a shed.
