I've yet to find one I specifically don't like but I'm partial to just seasoned bbq.

KC is the worstest. Like high rent ketchup.

Probably mentioned this before but when in doubt use the black man with a hat theory. If the bottle has a black man with a hat, you're safe....if it has cattle or ranching imagery steer clear.

General all around fall back sauce is Sweet baby Rays, there really is no reason at all that there is any other non local BBQ sauce even on the shelf at the grocery store....it doesn't even make sense not to use it.

That being said I always enjoy trying smaller brand/regional sauces.

Have to ad mit. I'm not partial to any brand because like my woman, I love all the BBQ. It doesn't matter, but I need the BBQ for almost anything I eat. Seriously, I drench many a foods in BBQ or HOTSAUCES.

I know one that is not so good is the HUNTS BBQ. It tastes like ketchup. I will still use it though if thats all that is there.

No sauce. Montreal steak spice, sear the shit out of it, eat.

Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?

ironically enough, i actually have a bottle of Sweet Baby Rays in my fridge.

i bought it because it was only a dollar and the first ingredient listed was high fructose corn syrup, instead of tomato paste/sauce.

it's pretty good, but i'm not really into "sweet" bbq sauces.

It depends on what I am eating. Sometimes smokie, sometimes sweet.

there's a place out here in the country called The Plainsman.
Open Thurs-Sat, take out only.
They do an 18-hour smoked Oklahoma-style brisket that is pret-ty damn good.
you can get sauce, but between the smoking and the rub, you don't need it.

While I'm pretty obviously not a BBQ afficianado, we sell some shit at my store that amuses me with it's name. It's called Bone Suckin' Sauce and my usual joke when talking about it with people there is that I was surprised someone actually marketed a Roofie in a wine cooler as BBQ sauce.

I can't use steak sauce. I prefer the natural taste of the meat. If I'm cooking some chicken on the BBQ I always go for a sauce with a strong hickory flavour.
