The Cure -last night
Fucking amazing. NOt sure if you anyone liked or still likes them on the board, but take my advice and go see them if you do. It was my first time and
I have been into them since 1988.
I saw some people I have seen in like 12 fucking years. We chatted. It was cool as fuck.
The show was amazing, but where the fuck did all the old people come from that stripper dance to the Cure? It was like old mom heaven and they all
danced like whores. Its weird to see ladies dancing and going "Woooo" to a song about "lost love" or "fighting/war"
Whatever the case they jammed and played only the good shit.

the crowd at the depeche mode show we went to a few years back was like that.
definitely a little sad.
If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

It was almost all old stuff.
They did 3 encores with the first one being 5 songs "M, Play for Today, A Forest, in your house, and at night" off SEVENTEEN SECONDS( my personal fav
record) then a second encore with all songs from BOYS DON'T CRY- JUMPING SOMEONE ELSES TRAIN, FIRE IN CAIRO GRINDING HAULT, and 3 IMAGINARY boys. THen
a 3rd encore with CHARLOTTE SOMETIMES and 100 years and another off pornography.
They played for over 3 hours. It was nonstop hit after hit for this band.

I like some of the old Cure stuff, but not enough to go see them live. Depeche Mode on the other hand I would love to see. I still have a live show
of theirs on tape somewhere.

I never saw them in person, but the live show I have on tape was amazing. It was from sometime around '92-'93 I think. Great stuff.

We have pretty much all the dvd's and cd's from DM. Depeche Mode are one of my all time greats. People call them pussy, but they are so bad ass that
they fool people into thinking they suck.
