U.S. BOMBS JOIN THE THORP FAMILY

THORP RECORDS is overwhelmingly thrilled to welcome the U.S. BOMBS to the THORP FAMILY. U.S. BOMBS is a legendary band (fronted by the legendary punk rock and skateboarding icon, Duane Peters) that has become a permanent fabric in the history of punk rock. That history is still being written, and a new chapter for U.S. BOMBS will commence sometime late fall 2005 when they release their debut full length for THORP RECORDS.

"I remember being 16 and managing a skate shop (that also sold punk/metal/hardcore) right outside of Philly and selling old Duane Peters Skull Skates decks and proudly wearing my Duane Peters skull skates t-shirt. He was, along with the Godoy brothers and a few others, one of the only pro skaters that truly embodied the punk rock attitude that I myself embraced. It was clear that his spirit enveloped all he did. That is still true today as Duane continues to live life to the fullest, and live it with a traditional punk backdrop. I couldn't be more stoked to now have a part in the U.S. BOMBS story."
- Andy King/ THORP RECORDS

nice

my us bombs story...........
my band played this ramones tribute a few years ago after joey died. all these lame bands were playing all the "happy" ramones songs. we went up there and played "today your love" with all the "nazi" refereces. people bumed.
some dude tried to grab the mic from me and my gutair player kicked his ass while i was still singing "im a nazi shatzi fighting for the father land"
it was killer.
the people who booked the show said we "ruined a tribute to joey" and took us off a show we had book with the us bombs later that month.
there ya have it

you come at the king....you best not miss

The very existence of flamethrowers proves that sometime, somewhere, someone said to themselves, ?You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I?m just not close enough to get the job done.? George Carlin

awsome news!

just take a look at the papers
your leaders
they\'re killers
they\'re liars
what they do in your
name to make the bodies pile higher
the murders, the terror
they\'ve done it forever
as we sit band and smile
at the script they sell us
but now the victims, they\'re rising
their numbers\'s multiplying
they want their revenge for the years
that they\'ve been dying
