Tomorrow, cooking hamburgers and beer with my family. Saturday, going to my great aunts 90th birthday party during the day and going to a party at my friends new house at night. Sunday, resting.

My dad and little brother are in town as of tomorrow so I'll be spending some time with them.

Today I'll be flying back to Albuquerque from Florida. I dropped my daughter back off here yesterday and couldn't catch a flight home until today. In Albuquerque, I'll probably hit up a couple places I always do when I go through town and then get back home late this evening so I can go back to work tomorrow morning. I've been off since June 23rd and in some ways it feels like months, but in others it feels like I was there yesterday. Tomorrow's gonna be a long haul, I'll go to the day job at 7a.m., leave there at 3 and head directly to the tattoo shop and bust my hump to start getting caught back up. Sunday I get session numero dos on the shin piece I got started at the beginning of last month.

See my previous thread. The gods are not with me.

Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?

Just got back from Blacklisted, was fucking great. After work drinks before that, and earlier in the day asking manager/HR for a massive pay increase. Good day to kick off the weekend, tomorrow I'm fucking sleeping til 3pm.

A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

Went to a local Ribfest last night in the Chicago burbs...had way too much BBQ and watched Nugent for 40 minutes or so.

Other than that...coffee, Sox games on TV, beer if I get up the energy to get some and just enjoying it not being next week yet when my uber overtime starts.
