netflix peeps...

any of youz ever use the streaming service that allows you to watch movies on your PC?

it's not natively mac compatible, but i've got it running my macbook pro with vista with vmware fusion on my new macbookpro.

last night it told me my connection was too slow, even when connected to a wired connection, which is nuts. seems to be working well enough this morning, but it looks like buffering might become an issue as the movie progresses.

I dont have Netfilx anymore, but when I did have it I used the streaming service a couple of times while I was at work. I dont remember having any major issues with it. My only complaint was that there wasnt a very big selection of movies you could stream.

Works just fine.

since we have the 'one at a time' plan, it's a good way for me to watch movies i know my wife's not interested in without taking up time as a physical dvd delivery.

i watched The Hound of the Baskervilles this morning.

I can hook my pc up to my tv and watch them that way. But it's with S-Video cable and doesn't look very good. I can hook it up with a DVI cable but I need a adapter that cost 40 bucks. And the selections not that great. I get 3 DVD's at a time. Just got finished watching the first season of Heroes.

DAK, you could've done that with the instant viewing thing. Season 2 is on there too.
