DISSOLVE - Caveman of the Future CD

"Caveman of the Future" is the long awaited full length from Poughkeepsie, NY's Dissolve. Originally scheduled to be released in 2001 on the now
defunct M.I.A. Records (one time home for Indecision, Darkest Hour, Candiria and Disassociate), the 13 tracks on this album twist and turn through
Dissolve's signature brand of chaotic metalcore. For fans of Kiss It Goodbye, Voivod, Neurosis, Overcast and Mastodon

never liked OVERCAST.
Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.

Im surprised that THY WILL BE DONE isnt on the Providence show. Jasta is playing and the TWBD cd is on Stillborn, but more so because they are from
Providence!
If anyone makes it to one of the shows they are on, definitly check them out. The singer is a good friend of mine and one of the nicest people I've
ever met.

Thy will be done have a killer sound.Their singer reminded me of that bearded guy from the bible...Jesus fucking christ. Saw my friend's band Southern
Bastard Church open for them. Think I'll check out that providence show.

I'm surprised there's time for an Overcast reunion between Shadows Fall and Killswitch Engage. Aren't those bands both super busy?

eh. I enjoy Shadows Fall and handful of KSE songs.
Im guessing this reunion is just to promote their cd coming out. Re-recorded stuff with at least one new song.

I stopped being into KSE at all when that dude Howard took over vox. Shadows Fall, on the other hand, often remind me of classic thrash. Though I
can't say I've listened to them in a long time, nor have a I bought anything new from them in that past few years.
Speaking of metal bands, melodic death type that is... I actually skipped out on seeing At The Gates here in Portland a couple weeks ago. Shows are
too loud for my old ears.

I liked them in the past, saw them last year and they still put on a great show. Forgot how metal they were. Haha, not my taste anymore.

Wicked, I'm not the only one who stopped caring when Jesse left.
A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

I've always thought KSE, Shadow's Fall, and Overcast licked fucking balls.
