I would consider that a big/far move too.

I dont really know you, but you seem to be more suited for the south for some reason. I think you'll be happy you moved.

good luck again!

50 miles from Philly seems far to me.

Best of luck with the move, it sounds like you're definitely doing the best thing for your kids and that's admirable. Hopefully it'll be a good thing in a lot of other ways too, even if it is as big an adjustment as you're expecting.

Geoff, I agree. Philly is not the place to have kids. I grew up in a farm town and Philly really messed me up nerves wise. It wasn't even the stress of the crime rate... just the stress of the way people in the metropolitan areas of the East Coast live. Just always moving and angry and impatient. I can't fucking do it.

Never had road rage like I did in Philly before. Portland has been WAAAAAY better so far. Works a little slow right now, but damn... I'd rather be struggling with work here than consistently working there and tweaked out all the time.

im not so shook up about the crime and all that
its always been here and always will
i just cant have my kids around it
if it was just me and kathleine, whatever
but factoring that the kids will have to grow up in this shit is not something i can live with.

im glad your new place is going well by the way.

and thanks to everyone for the kind words and well wishes.
i love you guys and appreciate this board more then youz will ever know

Very cool. And, Dave, we're trying to set something up for before we leave, we'll see. Freeborn might be on my heels out there, so we may try and keep this shit going from Calgary.

Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?

I think it is great you have your kid's best interests in mind. Shows a lot dude. Very cool stuff and best of luck in the South. Enjoy.
