CD collection up on eBay
I haven't been around posting much. Been moving around for the last month and getting ready to move overseas in a few weeks. The CD collection is
getting to be a bit much to take with me on every move, so it's up on eBay now. Starting bid might be a bit high, but it's less than $2 per CD.
Listing is up here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STR...
The listing names all 153 CDs that are included. Feel free to ask questions here or ask for more pics. I'll be happy to post them here if any of you
guys are interested. I may also find some extra stuff to toss if one of
you buys it!

Nope, not at all. I think we've seen the debate over Skrewdriver on this board numerous times... some people like them, some people don't. A bunch
of stuff I have came in bigger lots off things like eBay in the past, which I think is where that Race War CD came from (and even if I liked their
politics, that last band is way too metal for my tastes). Funny you latch onto that stuff when there's much more outspoken anti-racist or leftist
bands on there like The Oppressed, Hudson Falcons, and GC5 (who never got nearly the attention they deserved). There's also a lot of Templars albums
up there... and while they were obviously influenced by Skrewdriver, it takes a pretty bad nazi to support a group with a bunch of black guys in it by
buying so many of their albums.
And nobody ever seems to bring up that Todd Forkin from Starkweather and Rob Daly from The Uprise and Everyday Dollars were in an old white power
band, New Glory (and yeah, that CD is on the list, too).

first off, thanks for buying so many thorp/sgr releases!
there are actually quite a few cds in there i'd like to have. probably 50 i want, another 30 i'd like to check out.
random, if this doesn't sell, and you're ok with breaking up the lot, lemme know and we'll see if we can work something out. i just can't justify
three bills right now...or buying 20 of my own cds!
If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

Yeah, I know it would be easier to get some bidders (and probably for more money) if I broke the lot up, but I'm hoping for the sake of time and
convenience that I can sell it all at once. If it doesn't sell, I have no problem working something out and breaking up the lot.

yeah, you almost always get more breaking it up, but it's a HUGE hassle. 153 simultaneous ebay auctions is a headache. like i said, if it doesn't
sell, i'm interested in 80 to 100 of 'em. hopefully that'll help the cause!
where are going to school in london? what's the masters in? i went to richmond college for a while in the mid 90s. not the main campus in richmond
hill, but in kensington in the city. i love that town.

MSc in social and cultural psychology at London School of Economics. I just got my housing set up last week, and I'll apparently be a 5 minute walk
from the Liverpool St station. I have no idea where that is, but the accommodations look nice and it saves me the trouble of finding a place when I
get there.

And if it doesn't sell, I have no problem breaking it up - especially if you want 80-100 of them! Just let me know after the auction is over what you
want, if there are no bids. I'm still waiting for the listing to show up on an eBay search. The main thing is that I have one of those larger
carry-on bags that's filled up by the cds... it's ridiculous to keep lugging this thing around. Though it will be nice to offset some of the moving
costs, too.

Shit, I'll up the ante to "After The Fire" so when "The Strong Survive" came out, that was it for me. I don't think any other band will make grown men
act like a god damn knitting circle of geriatric windbags. Anyone that defines what type of person is by the music they listen to has serious fucking
problems.

I fail to see the rationality in that. If you listen to white power music, it's more likely than not that you're racist/white supramacist in some
way.

My rationality is that music doesn't define your belief system and characterize you as a person. None of the stuff I listen to never has and never
will dictate what I believe in. It's like saying that if I listen to SHELTER, I'm Krishna. If I listen to P.E., old ICE CUBE or PARIS, I'm Black
Power. If I listen to YOUTH OF TODAY, I'm SxE. If I listen to GG ALLIN or the GERMS, I'm a nihilist.

It's a fine line.
Music in way way or another shapes who you are. Most people on this board dress/act differently from those who listen to "radio" music. A lot of
people on this board I will bet dress differently than the average person. Whether it's having tattoos that symbolize the music that listen to, the
band shirts you wear or the doc martins that you wear. To say that music has no bearing on who you are as a person is a bit asinine.

I never said it has no bearing on anyone's outlook on life but to say that because I listen to a certain band makes me adhere to their politics 100%,
is asinine. You're taking something I said and following into a different argument altogether. Punk Rock is a little broader than all the different
sub groups/subcultures.

Listening to straight edge though you are substance user is one thing. Even if you drink or smoke, you can still appreciate the ideals behind sxe (at
least many can), if you listen a christian/krishna band, even though you don't agree with the beliefs, it still "preaches" something of more
subsistence than a group that promotes ethnic/racial superiority.
"None of the stuff I listen to never has and never will dictate what I believe in".
But I am sure it has influenced you in one way or another.
And nowhere did I say 100%. But if you listen to a white power band, obviously you share SOME of the ideals or agree with a fair amount of what they
have to say. I can't see why a person that isn't racist or prejudice would listen to a racist band because their music is that much better. It's not
like Screwdriver is some groundbreaking musical act, there are bands that do the same thing or damn similar, and without the political baggage.
PS. Listening to WP music is for the fucking birds as is any music that promotes one race being superior to another.

So, you can listen to other types of music promoting a message and not subscribe to their doctrine but when listening to Skrewdriver you must believe
in some things they say? Noticed you didn't even touch on Black Power rap. Who gives a fuck? You state these things like they're fact. They are your
OPINION as mine is mine. I'm jamming Skrewdriver right now so I gotta go as there are Viking raids I gotta get done son. See you in Valhalla.
