as for the stock market crap, if I had a good chunk of money that wasn't set aside for something else I'd buy up more shares of my mutual fund for my Roth IRA. I make monthly contributions so the low cost of them now is sorta offsetting any loss I had when the value dropped.

It should settle around 7 1/2 or 8. That is where we would be without all this credit and extended credit bullshit. If it goes below that we are in some not just awful, but really awful times.
