Anyone here like CAGE (the indy rapper)...

Thats right, we sit down to interview Chris Palko, AKA: Cage. If you don't know who he is, you will after this. Cage is ready to come back and make
some noise and Game Mechanix brings you info of his 2 new albums, his work on the Transformers movie, as well as video game talk with Cage to find out
what games he plays, what he is looking forward to, etc.
(yeah, we are a video game podcast after all!)
This is the first of many interviews to come from Game Mechanix in a new segment we are calling "...but I'm also a gamer" where we interview
Musicians, Comedians, TV Show hosts, etc who also happen to play video games like us.
We can't reveal who we have in the works but rest asured, you WON'T be disapointed!

Thanks. figured it would be a cool segment to have musicians and comedians talking about video games, get another side of them.

Cage was one of my favorite emcees. Horror Movies for the Blind will always be one of my favorite hip hop albums, The Leak Bros was not that good,
and Hells Winter was pretty good but I think he is regressing. Hopefully his next album will be better.

yeah, i like Cage a lot.
i love all the projects he's done:
2 solo albums
Smut Peddlers
Nighthawks
Leak Bros.
Weathermen
and all the appearances on EC Allstars and other EC releases.
EC records pretty much stopped after he left.
can't wait to hear this interview since dude has been under the radar lately.
2 new albums? that's good news.
i thought he was only working on Depart From Me.
thanks for the heads up!

just in case anyone here wants to check him out, this "best of" is a pretty good representation of what he was doing from 2000-2003, including Ballad
Of Worms.

after i posted the other day, i realized i didn't listen to the show.
it was cool. you and the other guy bounce off each other real good.
being the last video game i played was the arcade version of Blitz and couple of months ago and before that i can't remember, i didn't listen to much
of the non-Cage parts, but i can see how the show would be interesting to someone who does play games and i liked the music for Shoot Frank playing
underneath.
you guys got some good info out of him. interviews with him aren't real common.
the end was funny, about the game Depression.
nice job dudes!
i'm thinking about entering that Howard Stern contest, so this was cool to hear.

Thanks for giving it a listen. Cage was fucking AWESOME to talk with and gave us the ok to use whatever we wanted in the show, hence why we used the
Shoot Frnk beat for the backing track. Some of the stuff we were getting from him we were shocked by like the Transformers news.
