This weekend, I did something I’ve never done before.

I gave money to a political campaign.
I have my opinions, but I usually keep them to myself let my vote speak for me.
But this time around, I’m so disgusted with the fear tactics, divisiveness, lies, insinuations and distractions - not to mention Karl Rove, Warren Tompkins, Jeff Larson - that I've been moved to actually open my wallet.
This behavior would be considered unsavory regardless of who was responsible.
But coming from national leaders, it's despicable and it's unacceptable.
It literally makes me sick to my stomach.

If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

generally, i'm not a very political person, so i ask... is that true?
i know it is a widely held generalization of the democratic party in this country, but from what i've read, it's not accurate.

If it is true, lets weight the situations...

Republican rule = bad economy, no money in general, everything stays fucked and broken, less taxes.

Demecratic rule = good economy, making money, shit actually gets done, more taxes.

;)

On the taxes front the Reps always accuse the Dems of being "tax & spend" but the Reps are "borrow & spend" and when they borrow they borrow in ways that significantly undermine the national security they're always prattling on about.

Oh, I voted for the Messiah because he's a friend of labor and I dont want some whack job tree whispering religious whacko as a VP. But I don't believe he's not a duck for a second. He's part of 'Da Machine' and theres always more to that than meets the eye. He may drop the middle class taxes too, because when those much contested Bush tax credits expire in '09 the whole thing will be a wash and they'll be able to say...'Well we didn't raise your taxes....that was the evil Bush's credit expiring'.

We'll see in 4 years, hopefully things are better.
