ATTN: REV 3
I know that the term 'sheer terror' isn't completely unique to one place but what are the chances that you were inspired to name your band that after
reading "An Interview With a Vampire"? I was reading that book last night and Ann Rice used that term and it jumped out off the page to me. It made me
wonder if you had also read that book at some point and if that's where the idea came from. And since every one else is asking you questions today
then I thought it might be my chance to find out.

Christ! You guys started in 1984??? While we're on the topic, can you post a discography list of the band for records that are still in print? All I
have is "Love Songs for the Unloved".

You can find most of their albums on ebay. Get Ugly & Proud, one of the best records ever.

this was done from a 'collectible' point of view, but I did this discography in a thread awhile back. I'm not sure how accurate it is, but its all the
stuff I could find...

Ugly and Proud is my favorite too......but from what I understand, the band never made a dime off that album.Maze records held the recordings so long
without releasing the album that the band finally re-recorded it,and released Thanks fer nuthin.
I may be wrong about this, but I think I read it in an interview or something.
I think old, new, borrowed and blue is all around the best songs they ever recorded....Sheer Terror never sounded better then they do on this E.P. in my
opinion.

ugly & proud - of which i,nor any former members, see one dime from - was never pressed on vinyl...
there was a really shady authorized boot 7" with 2 songs off of U&P that was pressed up for a euro-tour...i don't remember who did it,or why...

they played with SOIA and it was a good day. In Clevo none the less and it was the old PEABODY'S DOWN UNDER.

Paul, at this point you must own the masters again. Couldn't you and the guys from the band license them out to some label so you can finally make a
few bucks off your music? I mean..... not to be an ass kisser here but Sheer Terror records will continue to sell to generations of hardcore kids if
they get the right treatment from the right label.

it's really not worth the effort,at this stage of the game...the band is dead...the BULLDOG EDITION is still out there for those who want
it...contrary to popular belief - the records don't "continue to sell"...kids today want this new tough guy beatdown metal shit...they don't wanna
hear me crying the blues...
if anyone is EVER going to re-release any of our catalog,it's going to be decided by me,neuman, and bill wilson (blackout! records)...neuman and i
don't speak,so,there's a snowball's chance in hell of us even discussing it...
maybe a vinyl boxed set...'just for my own collection...and ego stroke!

BULLDOG EDITION is a great collection of tunes and I got some of the other stuff. I think I paid around a bit for it, but its worth it.

That's too bad. I would bet if a label like Victory or Hell-Cat released your old stuff and advertised it as "nyhc legends Sheer Terror" then it would
sell quite a bit. It's all in how you frame it to the kids. hah

without a working band that would tour to promote product, labels don't want to be bothered...and,i don't blame them...victory had expressed interest a
while back, but there's no way in hell i'm dealing with those vultures...
it's over...onwards and upwards...

I've tried my best over the years to snatch up whatever I ran across on ebay and other places over the years. I still look for the stuff, though not
as actively as I once did due to not having an extra $100 to pay for the red edition of JCHE on Starving Missile and so on. I'd buy the stuff if it
got reissued.
But there's a snowball's chance in hell that's happenin.....
