how'd things work out with the job-related issues you posted about before. anything positive result from the situation? between all the shit with
voodoo, monty, disc, mike and steve's businesses, and probably some other bad shit i'm forgetting about... i kinda forgot about your situation. sorry
if i'm bringing up old shit. just say the word, and i'll get rid of the thread.

Thanks for asking, things are looking brigther. I was in rehab for a month and am living free of drugs and alcohol for the first time since the age of
12. Got alot of work still ahead though, as the consqeunces of nearly a decade of hardcore substance abuse have definetly left their mark. I'm going
to be in school soon, working on a degree in kinesology and getting an Athletic trainer certification which I plan to intergrate into taking my
kickboxing hobby to a serious level. My ultimate goals are to work with fighters in areas such as injury rehab and nutrition, and work with at risk
kids utilizing the discipline and confidience gained from fight training to deal with the pitfalls of life. And if I can get my game good enough
would like to give competitive fighting a shot. Its a long road ahead, but I feel good about the direction I'm going.

Good for you, man. Sounds like you're making the best of a bad situation to turn things around. I know a couple of us can share some advice about
school since we either started late or just never stopped (and happen to be on the perpetual student plan), so feel free to ask any questions.
metalmullisha might be able to throw out some advice about fighters, since he's mentioned running MM up in Canada, and MM sponsors a couple of MMA
fighters (including new Strikeforce champ Babalu Sobral). But you can probably make some calls to gyms in Cali around your area directly to make some
connections.
Bottom line, congrats for the progress. Keep up the good work!

Good for you man.
Well, its this place where nobody works, and the pigs don\'t give you any shit. Everyone smokes weed and gets drunk all day. Its a place where
cunts like me and you can truly take it easy and relax. Know what I mean?
