I didn't notice all the updates to the thread until now. Sounds like you're having a good time, despite the problems. One question though... what the fuck are

chocomel is a cacao drink made in holland. very sweet and tasty. choke loves it and has even written a (great) song with this title.

kindereggs is chocolate in form of an egg with a special surprise in it´s middle, wether a collectable toy or something to build.
their real name in germany is "überraschungs ei" what means surprise egg. kinder is only the name of the producer.

I had a Kinder Egg last night & a Chocomel this morning!

I got a smurf toy in the egg.

Were in Bremen today. The club seems okay. Sound check went okay & slapshot actually did one. I think they will had "how much can I take" to the
Set tonight.

Our new driver is a nut. Last night he hit a buliding trying to back out. His name a Fred & he keeps talking about how he has a "darkside". He's just crazy!

Roland, were you at the show last night?

so, good morning folks. back from my second appearance on the tour. my first show on sunday was cool, choke had a good day and made one joke after the other. they played chunks again and a new song called chocomal. was short, fast and had a good chorus. hope they play it again when back in holland.
yesterday bremen. it was my first time in this city, but the club is nice. normally i wouldn´t drive 180 miles for a show, but hey, it´s slapshot. all bands were really good, but slapshot were so loud that my ears are ringing today. no chunks yesterday, i was disappointed and i wish they would play what at´s stake. maybe next time. the crowd was quite lame, but resonance had shaved for battle. as always, all the old german skins wait for this song...
energy fit in this tour well. they sound like a cross between afi and 7 seconds and i thought they would be ignored by a slapshot crowd, but they´re liked quite much.
next up for me is the persistance show on saturday. hope to meet honus there again. he´s one of the nicest guys i ever me!
@ steve: the last rights shirts are awesome.

The show tonight was in Chemnitz & it kicked ass. Lots of stage dives, sing alongs & tons of fun.

They played the usual set + Whats At Stake? and Bigmouth Strikes Again (smiths cover)

Last day!! Were in holland for the last show. Do to lots of planning & a little scheme were in 2 vans now rather than the bus, but it's fine either way. Just need to get through today show (which starts at 3 or 4 I think) and the get to the airport and take over.

It's a lot of fun but it will be nice to get home too.

Back in Boston!

Landed about an hour ago, went through passport check, got the luggage, through customs & said goodbye to everyone.

Now I'm on a bus from the airport to Braintree (about 30-40 minutes) where my dad will pick me up and then it's HOME!

It was a rough tour. For the last week Choke & Mark were pretty sick and got gradually worse until today when they were both at their worst. None of the shows were canceled, cut short or even really suffered (in my opinion) but if the tour did end yesterday I'm not sure what would have happened.

I met some great people like the guys in All For Nothing & Energy. If you like newer slightly metalic hardcore with female vocals (think a less metal Walls of Jericho) than check out All For Nothing. If you like Ignite, AFI & The Misfits than check out Energy.

Also got to see Roland from the Thorp Board again, but forgot to get a picture with him. I met up with someone I know from Myspace which was cool too.

Other hilights:

Watching Slapshot write a song.
Seeing them play the new song.
Seeing them play Chunks at about 1/2 the shows.
Seeing them play Bigmouth Strikes Again 2 times.
New merch.
Seeing H2O & Sick Of It All at the Percistace Tour.
Watching "Dirty Sanchez" DVDs on the bus.
Drinking Chocomel.
The guy in the Slapshot "friends stand united" hoodie & polo shirt he made.

I'm sure there's more but the bus is almost to Braintree so I'll wrap it up. Maybe XoversuX can add his 2 cents.

It was a great time as always & I'm glad that I'm allowed to go. All that being said, it will be nice to be home! But not nice to be back to work!
