I am also one of those 7 haha. Take "Homicidal" for instance, it is simple as fuck but just sounds so fucking evil.
And Jason, the interview you did with them in the issue #4 of Indecent Exposure was awesome.

I had their Hellfest riot footage on my site for about 24 hours. I went waaaaaaaaay over my monthly bandwidth so pulled it as soon as I got home from
work the next day
A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

MM - never "heard" them or "heard of" them?
i've posted about them before and figured you might be into them.
as you can see, the shows get a little hyper.
i've seen 'em a number of times and yes, been on stage - masked - on two occasions.
even have the scars to prove it!

"homicidal" (last song on the myspace player) is far and away my favorite song.
i have a video (VHS!) they did for that song, but i haven't seen it online yet.
even my wife digs that track and she doesn't listen to this shit.
you know the very beginning, when it's like "chug-chug-chug-chug-chuuuuuug- waaaah-waaaah?"
that's her official 'i want to kill you' noise.
if i hear her do that, i'm probably in trouble.

After watching those vids. Wow. I have no idea.
Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.

Is that DVD worth getting? I never got into them, but I think it would be interesting to see the dvd if its worth it.

Yeah, those pictures in that interview were from a show they did in detroit with H8INC...really good time. I probably told this story before,
but....BL13 was doing their toned down more music centered set but were still getting out of hand. They were actually using some of the H8INC
equipment and someone asked them to take it easy...they as BL13 always do kept doing what they do best (not taking it easy). That is, untill a
defensive line of rather serious Detroit guys whos tattoos tattoos have tattoos on them took vigil in front of the stage...it got pretty intense for a
minute but BL took to beating up each other instead of the equipment and all was well again.
I just remember them beating the hell out of the girl...Laura I think is her name? She went running at one of the guys and he fucking mule kicked her
right in the stomach...I think one of the pics was an action shot of her getting cold cocked too.

You know what I could sense in some of the vids that they did has some restraint, but it was still fucking chaos.
So they did tone it down in Detroit for fear of getting jacked? That is fucking tough as nails on Detroit's part.
