For The Roses
Got started on a new piece this past weekend. Another band tribute piece, this one should be a bit more recognizable to most of you around here. It
runs from about halfway down my kneecap to just a few inches shy of the badlands, if you get my meaning. This is obviously just the outline and much
shading and color is to come. Nic Montgomery at the shop here took care of this for me and knocked it out in something like two and a half hours.
Anyway, here's some pictures from my phone...

I have a tour poster from their farewell tour over in euroland that I loaned to my friend and he tweaked the design a little bit to get this one. I'm
super stoked on it and can't wait for the next session.

Thank you, Paulie! This has been a long time coming and your words and music have meant a lot to me over the years.
Clevo, there'll be a lot of color and shading and it will take at least a few more sessions. I'll post updates as it progresses.

update: a few sessions later....
We've still got a bit to do, but we have another session coming up on the 25th. I dunno if it'll be finished at that point or not, but I'm really
happy with the way it's coming out.
