Godo day for mail

Got out of my last class today and stopped by my mailbox on the way back to the dorm. What do I find? A nice little package with a few cds I had ordered.

Ramallah - But a Whimper
Starkweather- Croatoan
Insect Warfare- World Extermination

Made my day so much better.
Looking forward to freaking out my roommate when he gets back.

Yesterday I got my REFUSE RESIST 'Chuck Taylor' shirt and I'm wearing it today!
I also got a 3 color Slapshot sticker of the mask/bones in red, black & white. I've actually never seen it before.

Thanks to Pat FNS, last week I got...
BOSTON X - Boston X 7" Test Press (in the Last Rights parody sleeve)
YOUTH OF TOGAY - Want More Guys 7" Test Press
(Originally planned to be pressed in the summer of 2006, this record encountered numerous blocks from a pressing plant in the US. Plates were paid for, but ultimaly blocked from being pressed. Basically this means this record will NEVER BE PRESSED....EVER!!! This is one of only 5 copies in existance. Some of these tracks were released on the "Tossed Salad Days" LP, but two of are exclusive.

and I got a Strangers in Paradise (the comic book) print singned by the artist/writer Terry Moore.

I'm actually waiting for a bunch of stuff that should hopefully be in soon...

SLAPSHOT - Tear it Down promo poster
SLAPSHOT - We Bite promo poster
BITTER - No Miracle 7" (red vinyl)
FLIPSIDE FANZINE - Compilation LP (with Slapshot, 7 Seconds, White Flag, Tesco Vee, COC, Lemonheads, SNFU, Shonen Knife & more)

yeah I know... I did the cover art (the original version at least) and had no poster.

I also never understood the credits in the CD. It says "Old Time Hardcore Logo by Joshua Hurst" but I dont even know what that means. I picked the front & back cover art and I did an initial layout and then someone with Thorp changed it to the amber tint version.

good god, i have no idea. i remember deciding to have the tint added, but we never edited the copy bands provided for the booklet. that language most likely came from the band.

its not a big deal, I was just curious.

Its funny, to get that high-res version of the front & back I took my camera to a sports collectible store and when the clerk wasnt looking I took pictures of pictures that they had all framed & mounted and selling for $500+

I had a local guy do it. Time and money were an issue (he has a place next to where my guitarist works and we needed shirts done in 3 days for the video shoot). Banned Shirt Guy.

He also had a deal I couldn't pass up at the time.

Next shirt is definitely yours. Also, we need stickers again, so when I have money again I'll be banging down your door.

If I'd known that I would have sent you one. I got two when I bought the cd. Are you missing any of the Taang ones?

I've got Slapshot promo posters from Taang around here somewhere. 16 Valve Hate and a couple of others.

I found a stack of Taang posters I've gotten over the years from ordering, and for some odd reason none of the Slapshot ones are there. I know I had 16 Valve, Step on It, and I'm positive there was a third. Sorry bud.
