I don't know how many of you guys get HBO
Did anyone catch the miniseries Empires Fall?
I couldn't pull myself away from the tv. I enjoyed it.
Also anyone heard that they might not do the third/last season of Carnivale? That will suck bigtime if this happens.

i saw some of that miniseries and thought it was pretty interesting...paul newman is one of the best ever, i'd like to catch the whole thing if
possible

When Carnivale first came out, I really loved it and my roommates always hated it because they said it was really slow, plot-wise. Since I moved I
caught an episode every once in a while and I can't figure out what I ever saw in it. Oh well. Never saw Empires Fall, but I love The Sopranos,
Deadwood, and the first few seasons of Six Feet Under. I don't have cable anymore (hell, we only get one station at my house now and it's kinda
fuzzy), so I don't really watch anything now, but HBO always comes up with the best shows.

See that was my problem when I first saw it, I caught episodes every once and awhile and wasn't as impressed, but I came too and watched the first
season all over again in order on one of the other hbo channels, and I was just really intrigued and I became hooked.
Deadwood is fucking great. I believe the new seasons of sopranos and six feet under are their last. I am expecting big things.

i had a real hard time sticking with carnivale through the first season. the second was better, and it definitely could have kept going too bad.
deadwood might be the best thing on tv, even better than sopranos. every character is so good. calamity jane has some of the best lines ever... "Are
that fuckin' cocksucker?!"
