From that youtube video I posted, there should be links in the "similar videos" in youtube to an 8-part documentary on Russian prison tats. I watched
it after posting the other video. It was pretty interesting. Not quite Russian mob, but still good.

If I remember right people would get a tattoo of Lenin over there heart so when they were executed, by gunshot, the shooter wouldn't shoot them
through the heart, giving them a chance at living through it.
Support the arts, shoot a rapper.

Yeah, they say something like that in the documentary I mentioned in the second post. Firing squad wouldn't shoot at the leader of the USSR, so that
was the reason. Later added Stalin to the group, but the original was Lenin, Marx, and Engels.
