Hudson Falcons - US Tour Spring 2009

After not touring the States for the last 15 months, we're finally coming back out!!! We start Friday Feb 20 in Williamsburg, VA and the tour ends on Sat May 2 in Boston. The goal is 74 shows in 72 nights. Hopefully we'll see a lot of you when we come through your area. There are a handful of dates we're still having problems with. If are in or near any of those towns and can help us out, please let us know.

Falcons veteran Max Campbell continues to play guitar for us. We also have a couple of other Lafayette, Indiana guys with us. Trent Downey of Trent and the Rippers and shiltoad (multitude) of other bands is behind the drums for us; and Jordan Allen of Newport Jones and multitude (shitload) of other bands is playing bass for us.

We hope to see you out on the road. Until then. . .

Stay hard, stay hungry, stay alive,
Mark

Might have to hit that Albuquerque show... Hudson Falcons are always amazing. I'm continually stunned by the enormous list of tiny towns they manage to play in, especially in Texas.

.......And of course on Clevo show. It's like they intentionally missed us. Akron, Columbus, but no Clevo.

Are there any good venues out there? I know when we tried touring, there were no bands, venues that would help us out.

Then we played Bernie's. Never again. Columbus was a good town, but the venue let all the "regulars" in for free. F-that. Everbody Out got 20 bucks and were nice enough to give us 10.

There are several venues and they are begging for bands to play. Its to the point that they are on MYSPACE asking for local acts to play most nights. Shit even in my town of Elyria and Lorain they have clubs now and they looking for punk/hardcore/screamo shit. they advertise for acts around the colleges and coffee houses.

given clevo's terrible luck having bands always avoid his town, it made me think of this clip. just replace "why did all the dinosaurs die?" with "why don't any bands come to clevo?"

$10?
that's insulting; like leaving a quarter for tip at a restaurant.
damn.

If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

Yeah there were like 30-40 people (not a good turnout by any means) but yeah it was not a good experience. And the local bands must not have advertised too well.

It was a bummer. What I thought was going to be the best day on tour, was one of the worst. It's a good thing EBO was there. They were all great people to hang out with. I will definitely try to hit Cleveland next time we go out that way.

But back to topic, I am excited to see HF in Boston at the end of the tour.
