I think he's just pompous. It seemed like he really believed his band should be there on their merit as a band alone and that his being an actor
shouldn't be brought up for that reason. Like he even would get an interview if that wasn't the case. It's possible that it could be a publicity
stunt...look at me, the wierd Hollywood guy...but his bandmates looked genuinely uncomfortable being there for that.

Not only was the guy married to Angelina Jolie, she supposedly carried a vial of his blood around. That might give you a bit of an ego in and of
itself. Regardless of what some might think of her and her supposedly hotness... the collective cultural consensus is that she is THE MILF of the
world. And before that she was like the hottest babe of the world or one of them.
But, yeah, basically every movie Billy Bob has done besides Sling Blade he's played assholes. I maintain that he's not actually acting in any of those
movies... he's just being himself. So this, I can honestly say, comes as no surprise.
