Teabagger protests

No one likes to pay taxes, but I think FDR was right on the money when he said ""Taxes, after all, are the dues that
we pay for the privilege of membership in an organized society."
Your paying for a service. Do people just expect shit to happen for free?

Sorry, its not about paying taxes. Those are fine The problem is that we are WAAAAAYYYYY overtaxed. You pay through the ass on taxes and we have more taxes after taxes, and then more taxes after that. Its rediculous and if your insinuating that its a "republican thing" your wrong. That is the biggest misconception about the tax protest. Your taxed in your check from work, then when you take your money and spend it your taxed again. And if your lucky enough to have money to invest your taxed on your gains. Not to mention if you take your profits out early your taxed again. If a relative passes and you are fotunate to be given(inherit) a gift from them then your taxed on that. If they leave you property, your taxed on that. If you own a business your taxed on that in every corner of profit, expenses, products, investing, repairs, fee's rent, whatever. Its bullshit and your tax dollars are going to crooks and theives who pocket your hard earned dollars. Dude, its not about us not paying our share, its about them taking from us.

I don't see an US vs Them situation here. US puts them in power, US advances in society and becomes THEM. Where were these people for the last 8 years to protest taxes. When US was fat and happy in the bubble they weren't taking too much. What do people expect? We are neck deep in shit as a nation, should we start cutting treatment programs for addicts? Should we shut down mental health facilities? Should we layoff more teachers? Should we cut welfare and government aid programs to families in need? And we are a still a nation fighting two wars on top of our economic troubles. Someone has to pay the bill. The country is swept up in bullshit populist rage, pointing the fuckin finger every which way. US is just as guilty as THEM. Most people who participated problem don't even know the circumstances behind the original Tea Party, because we as a nation are historically retarded. Taxation WITHOUT representation, what we have is US choosing poor representatives. Nancy Pelosi didn't vote herself into office, Barack Obama didn't sneak in a bill in congress to make himself president, the senate and congress don't just declare themselves the peoples voice.

US does not put them in power. THEY break US down and force a vote on only 2 party choices. Go with the lesser of 2 evils to convince yourself its the right choice. People are chosen to election by those who support them. Take it upon yourself and run for city counsel. Maybe something more impressive. It will not be long before you see you need others to make things happen for you and I am not talking about "votes". It takes movement before the votes to get support to be elected. It also takes people/parties to help you move forward. The peoples vote is not what matters. If that were true Kerry would have been in office in 2004. And please don't bring up the electoral college process. We are all aware of this roadblock as well.

Also please keep in mind that last 8 years have increased the very spending most the "tea protesters" are protesting. Find me a "republican" that was happy with Bush and I'll show you a person who is ignorant to what they actually stand for.

Look, I am not supporting either party or elected official, but I am saying that being made guilty because your country is aggressively taking your hard earned sweat, time, money, blood is flat out wrong. It is very apparent that you are liberal and support that regime and that is fine, but don't assume everyone who is against this idea is "republican". Its not about conservative or liberal , it's about being fair to the working man and woman in the United States. If you disagree then you are blinded by your own ignorance. We as a people who "supposedly" elect officials are bled dry with taxes. It's nearly impossible to stay afloat because your city, state and national government can't figure out how to stay afloat. So they come back to the people because they can't find money to fix interstate or city street. Or keep weed smokers/dealers in jail longer. FUCK ALL THAT. Shit some of us are struggling with $12 jobs or less. Try doing that and when you go to the store to buy yourself or family groceries. You would see how it feels. You have nothing left because the groceries are way to overpriced because of taxes or subsidies(tax dollars) given to farmers to not grow food. And if you think taxes do not effect the price of food your ill-informed. Most people who are poor will always vote democrat. Problem is they are the ones who struggle the most with paying those taxes. It's bleeding, your taxes were used to give awful banks and airlines and auto industry bailouts. Is that fair? I know many, many people who could use that money to get themselves out of there struggle much better than the government could. Is the government helping you? IS it helping me? Is it helping your neighbor pay off "bad debt"? IS it using our tax money to help any of us? The answer is no. And don't go the route of "well if the banks collapse then the entire world collapses BS. Because I could think of 1 way to solve that completely. Bail out the people with bad debt and you will see that ALL banks and lending institutions will ALMOST be paid off and said bad debt will be eliminated. Banks will again be secure and the American population will be relieved of predatory lending/ ignorant mistakes in spending and given a second chance to make it right. If that sounds too far fetched your right, but it was what they are doing with banks, and airlines and auto industry. THAT"S YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!

It is pretty awesome. Then it loses its luster when your girl is all like "How can you respect me when you do that" That just kills it.
