BAD BRAINS - build a nation
Realizing Instantly that I never listen to it. I put it on while cleaning the house. I now understand why. Its really not very good. I really was
wanted it to be.
Each aspect of the soul has it's own part to play, but the ideal is harmonious agreement with reason and control.

Thought it was absolutely terrible. I could go smoke a bunch of crack cocaine, then mumble over some instrumentals and make the same record. Only
difference is I don't have a legendary name to push my garbage.
"Build A Nation is one of the most inspiring punk albums of the last 15 years. It’s got heart and soul and integrity.” – Shavo of System Of A Down
This confirms its one of the worst punk records ever.

its not an awful record, but it didnt live up to the hype. we had been hearing about 'the new bad brains record that Adam Yaught produced' for YEARS
before it finally came out!

Yeah, Clevo, I definitely agree. There's some songs that sound great musically, but HR's vocals are like a weird reversal of his old style. Every time
I expect him to pick up the pace and start going off, he just slows down and ruins it. That's kinda what he did at the Bad Brains show at Fun Fun Fun
Fest last year, but then it was worse because he was doing that to old, classic songs. I bought this album right after it came out and I think I've
listened to it a handful of times, mostly just to see if it would grow on me.

A listenable album, but no replay value...and I'm a BB superfan/apologist.
Hardly the worst punk album ever though, even terrible Bad Brains is better than 75% of everything else.
