another story for you todd esp.
a few weeks ago we got my oldest son xavier a bike
we took him out a few weekends ago
he out on his helmet and hopped up on it
my wife had the baby in the stroller and i walked along side him, peddling his ass off
i held onto the back even though it has training wheels
i could not let go
we went around the blocks a few times and it started to rain
we went in and he was so happy that he got to ride for a few mins
he said "that was great riding a big boy bike dad"
i said "yeah buddy it was"
we were out for maybe 10 mins total
and it was 10 mins that i will never forget a second of
10 mins that made life worth living
10 mins that made me a better person just by being there
10 mins that made me see not everything is shit and that through all the crap ya have to deal with here and there, there are moments of gold that make
it all worth it
you come at the king....you best not miss

Jesus christ, Mrbad. i am fucking tearing up at the keyboard here. who'd have thought you and i would turn the thorp board, at least for tonight,
into some sort of emo hideout.
I wish I weren't so twisted because being a dad makes you a fucking M-A-N, at least dad's like you and duane. My godson is 1/2 years old and he said
my name for the first time today. when he see's me he runs up and holds onto my leg. Taking your kid for a bike ride=HARDCORE, a year of sleepless
nights tending to your baby=HARDCORE. Fuck everything else.

i love kids in general
the kids in xaviers pre school class, my nieces and nephews
kids are just so cool
not all fucked up and jaded like all the adults you are forced to deal with
just honest, happy and fun
even when they are not happy, they still rule

You know this already but I'll bring it up again. I volunteer at a free health clinic in CT and it was started by a doctor who's son died tragically
by getting tangled up in a swingset.uy do? Now i would have lost myself in booze and pills or offed myself. but what does this doctor do? he opens
a free clinic for uninsured and low income people. He's one of my few examples of people who make my life better.
