i've got a drum prodigy on my hands

my girls 14 yr old son is going to be one helluva drummer.he has had his own kit for about 3 yrs now and is rocking hard.he's in honors band for snare, and on his last uil sight reading the judge complimented him on his snare and said it was the best he heard all night..we've been playing metallica guitar hero and he's been handling the songs on expert around 95%and holding his own on expert + with a single peddle around 90%.i'm so pround of the little dude he loves slayer, shadows fall, misfits, metallica, and minor threat.between me and his dad the kid has a good musical background, and with his dad he having a dream record collection that makes mine look silly kids gonna be the shit if he sticks with it..

my 13 year old daughter got all into drums whenI bought her rock band
she was playing damn near everything on expert without ever playing drums before...
I bought her an electronic set and she played for a little white
but she has choosen boys and my ex's house so maybe someday she'll come back around...
nothing worse than wasted talent

but he sounds rad give him lots of positive support and he'll keep making you proud
