^ agreed.

it's good, it's just not what i'm looking expecting.
if the first time i heard clutch was 2004, i'd probably be stoked.
but as it is, i keep waiting for them to go off.

i'm going out on a limb here, but...
i might have to break up with clutch.

If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

The first 2 albums are the best.

OK. I listened to it and I actually think its not bad. I normally can't stand them but that actually jammed somewhat. Maybe I'm just high from having a good run tonight, but it wasn't bad.

clutch is like a blow job
even when it's bad it's good, and better than nothing
but some blow jobs are better than others...

the first 2 records and the ep were amazing in a post hardcore helmet kind of vibe
lots of energy and pretty angry

elephant riders they got into more of the blues feel but it was still fucking heavy as hell...

the next 3 were pretty good, but not as strong, but still better than damn near anything else "rock" going on...

last 3 or 4 have just all been pretty blues jammy, and it just seems to me they are recycling the same vibe
and that's a shame becasue early on they would mix a lot of different sounds in the same song and pull it off well...

neil the singer is probably one of the best front men I've ever seen
I have too many good things to say about them to be this dissapointed in the last few records...

I know they get much love from people but I couldn't dig it. I even got hooked up with some ripped copies form this board and even though it was appreciated I still couldn't dig it. Funny thing is my cousin borrowed the ripped cd and he went out and bought up some CLUTCH. He loves em. In fact last 4th of July we were drinking and he started in with some lyric. He kept repeating it and we were all busting up about it. He said it was form CLUTCH. Whatever it was it was funny. SO BD you got my cousin into them and you didn't even know it.
