ebay etiquette

Is it better for the seller to leave feedback first or the buyer after they have received the item? I normally buy, but I have noticed most sellers leave the feedback first. Whenever I sold stuff I waited for the feedback to come to me to see if there satisfied or not.

As a seller I've always left feedback once payment is received.

I've never sold anything there, but I've bought a lot and most sellers wait until I leave feedback after receiving the item. I have a few sellers that I've dealt with repeatedly and they'll generally leave feedback as soon as I pay, but most sellers don't do that.

sellers SHOULD leave feedback once payment is received and buyers once item is received. My opinion

as a seller theres not really a reason to wait anymore because a seller cant leave negative feedback for a buyer. its stupid, but it was a change they made awile ago to stop retaliation.

Yeah, I got an email about that a little while back. Sellers not being allowed to leave negative feedback is bullshit. Some people who buy shit on there are straight up dickheads who fuck you around about payment and such. Other sellers should be able to see if somebody has a shitty history as a buyer.

There should also be a Rick ta Life warning so you know he's bidding on your stuff under one of his multiple accounts.

^Hahaha.

My wife got negative feedback from a seller once because she disputed with them about their shipping charge which was like 5 bucks more than the shipping fee printed on the package by the postal service. It's not like we didn't pay them the money, they were just being dickheads because she called them up and was like "what the fuck?"
