i used to fucking love them as i started playing bass before i took up the six string so Claypool was always an inspiration.

i can only listen to about 3 songs by them these days though (being DMV, My Name Is Mud and Jerry Was a Race Car Driver).
tried to listen to Frizzle Fry last week as it goes and didn't make it through the first song.
Dude's voice is just plain fucking annoying haha!

I'm a fan.... with all the other projects he's put out it seems like Les has gone a little crazy! Hes an awesome bass player though.

There was a hardcore band from Providence called ARE WE DEAD YET!? and they used to cover 'to many puppies' and it was awesome everytime!

funny story... My dad likes Primus a lot. He went to see them with one of his friends and they were up in the balcony of a theatre type place. Some kids were kind of laughing about 'the old guys' at the Primus show. So they walked by and my dad says "do you guys like this band? What do you think about the bass player?" and the kids are like "Primus is awesome, Les is the best bass player" and my dad says "thats my son" and the kids mouths dropped. Haha.... stupid fucking kids!

Not a huge fan but saw them a couple times and frizzle fry and that cheese record were not bad. Cool to get high too I guess back in the day. Probably yet another band I need to check out again as I will prolly like em more now than before. THat MY NAME IS MUD song has been in my head since the early 90's.
