Sprained Ankles CD Release last night...Steve Risteen content
Last night Drew Kazoo and the crew had an amazing CD release party and took everyone by surprise when they played a cover of my favorite Slapshot
song. They introduce the one an only Steve Risteen and ask me to sing it.
It was an awesome night. I sang "Hang Up Your Boots" with Steve and the Sprained Ankles. It was a blast. Then they did an awesome cover of "Moment of
Truth".
He had the biggest smile on his face the whole time. It was great. I wish he would start another band.
Check out the new CD from Sprained Ankles, "Oh Snap It's The Sprained Ankles". They are a fun time band who write some awesome party type songs. There
are kazoos and organs what else could you want?

ahhh Steve posted something on facebook about taking out his guitar for the first time in awhile (although he played 1 song at the Hometown Throwdown
with Slapshot). Sounds like it was awesome... post up a link if anyone got it on video!

It didn't look like there were any video takers. My girl wasn't feeling well, so I didn't have a camera on hand. I wish there were though. He had the
biggest smile the whole time. It was pretty awesome. A big thanks to Drew for putting this together.

a classic mask one from when they played in 94-95 with Warzone, Knockdown, Converge in the Worcester area. (I don't think he was in the band still at
that point, but he was happy to see an "old" shirt regardless).
