Not surprising, I suppose...
Report: Bush surveillance program was massive

If I fail math, there goes my chance at a good job and a happy life full of hard work.

Reading much past the 2nd paragraph is too much for me before bed, so I'm going to avoid it rather than getting riled up lol. Has Obama pulled back
the surveillance at all though? He hasn't retracted a lot of Bush's laws and continued with a lot of his own furthering the Bush agenda and
increasing military spending even further as well from the reports I've read.
A lot of people ask me what kind of music I like. I love "soul music". My "soul music" isn’t a style, genre or niche. It’s music that is genuine. It’s
a painful lyric, a dirty bassline, it’s a harrowing vocal, it’s feedback, it’s an anthem, it’s a love song, it’s anarchy. I’ve got my personal
favourites but in the end it doesn’t matter who or where it comes from... so long as it’s good and it's real.

Hard to avoid when you inherit two warfronts. If he reduces or stops funding he leaves the military in hostile territory with their pants down. he is
working on getting this under control but it takes time and we all know that in todays fast food convenient society, if it does not happen the day
after election, he's automatically a shitbag. Sad

Secretary Gates is actually doing a decent job at cutting the budget. I know he is scaling back the plans for the raptor fighter jets which would
cost taxpayers greatly. There was a good article on him in Time a few months back when Obama decided to keep him on the job.
I forget where I read it at, but they are also re thinking using the carrier as the centerpiece of naval strategy. Our missile and UAV technology is
getting so precise, that a pilot and a plane are looking primitive. Carriers do have a good lifespan but the average overall cost from commission to
decom is like 22 billion dollars. The number of realistic uses for a carrier in todays current battlefields is slim, save for a war with China.
As far as Obama and continuing Bush policies, the man has only been in office for 7 months now. I don't put that much stock into him, I think big
business has completely corrupted our politicians, but we probably won't see the full effects of his policies atleast for another 2 years. People
need to stop saying the bailout failed as well, most of that money hasn't even reached its targted areas yet. Takes time for 700 billion to properly
be distributed, especially with these adulteress Republicans vowing to not accept money.
